CRASH OCCURRED AS VEH#1 WAS NORTHBOUND ON I 29. DVR#1 SUFFERED FROM A MEDICAL CONDITION CAUSING HIM TO PASS OUT AT THE WHEEL. VEH#1 TRAVELLED OFF OF THE WEST SIDE OF THE ROADWAY AND STRUCK THE GROUND WITH ITS FRONT BUMPER CAUSING IT TO BECOME AIRBORNE. VEH#1 LANDED ON ITS WHEELS, STRUCK THE GROUND WITH ITS UNDERCARRIAGE AND CONTINUED NORTH IN THE MEDIAN BEFORE STRIKING A BRIDGE OVERHEAD WITH ITS PASSENGER SIDE. The police said the damage to the 2020 Freightliner driven by Anderson was extensive. It was removed by Towed By Blue Knight.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Tpr D L Hughes of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 200514185 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
