Cody Marriott Injured in a Crash on July 13, 2023 in Nodaway County, Missouri

VEH1 CROSSED THE CENTERLINE, BEGAN TO SKID, PARTAILLY RAN OFF THE WEST SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, RETURNED TO THE ROADWAY, CROSSED THE CENTERLINE, BEGAN TO OVERTURN, COMING TO REST IN THE ROADWAY ON ITS PASSENGER SIDE FACING NORTHWEST. ASSISTED BY NODAWAY COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT.

Injuries

Marriott's injuries were minor. Marriott was taken by Nodaway County Ambulance to Mosaic Medical Center In Maryville.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2008 Sterling Lt8511 Trash Truck driven by Marriott was total. It was removed by Towed By/To Kizer Towing Of Maryville.

Tpr T R Hecker of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 230375940 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
