CRASH OCCURRED AS VEH 1 WAS SOUTHBOUND I-35 AND DVR FELL ASLEEP. VEH 1 TRAVELLED OFF THE EAST SIDE OF THE ROADWAY AND ACROSS THE MEDIAN ONTO THE NB LANES. VEH 1 TRAVELLED BACK INTO THE MEDIAN, STRUCK A BRIDGE ABUTMENT AND DOWN AN EMBANKMENT. VEH 1 CROSSED A ROAD AND STRUCK ANOTHER EMBANKMENT. VEH 1 CAME TO REST ON WHEELS IN MEDIAN FACING SOUTH. ASSISTED BY TPR. T.N. GARTON (408), CVO. K.L. SHEWEY (W066), CVO. J.E. LAWRENCE (W185), AND CLINTON COUNTY.

Injuries

Wilson's injuries were serious. Wilson was taken by Tri County Ambulance to Liberty Hospital.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2019 Freightliner driven by Wilson was total. It was removed by Towed By Scottys.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Tpr D M Wilburn of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210403316 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
