VEHICLE 2 CAME TO A CONTROLLED STOP ON THE RIGHT SHOULDER, VEHICLE 3 CAME TO REST IN THE EASTBOUND LANES OF THE BRIDGE FACING SOUTHEAST, VEHICLE 1 CAME TO REST OFF THE NORTH SIDE OF THE ROADWAY FACING EAST. ASSISTED BY THE DAVIESS COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT AND THE GALLATIN FIRE DEPARTMENT.
Injuries
Collins's injuries were minor. Collins was taken by Daviess County Ems to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2019 Jeep Cherokee driven by Salazar was moderate. It was removed by Towed By Bridgemans. The damage to the 2022 Freightliner driven by Stanley was minor. It was removed by Left At Scene. The damage to the 2011 Ford Focus driven by Collins was total. It was removed by Towed By Bridgemans.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Cpl M J Miller of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210402043 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
