AFTER IMPACT, VEH #2 CAME TO REST PARTIALLY BLOCKING THE PASSING LANE OF SOUTHBOUND I-35. VEH #1 CAME TO A CONTROLLED STOP ON THE RIGHT SHOULDER OF SOUTHBOUND I-35. ASSISTED BY TPR B.T. QUIRING (907, TPR J.W. SMITH (372), TPR B.S. FLORAY (746), AND TPR C.A. ADKISON (530).
Injuries
Hinrichs's injuries were minor. Hinrichs was taken by Private Vehicle to Liberty Hospital.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2017 Jeep Cherokee driven by Woods was total. It was removed by Towed By Dawson'S Tow. The damage to the 2007 Nissan Murano driven by Hinrichs was extensive. It was removed by Towed By Dawson'S Tow.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Tpr J J Thompson of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210389950 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
