VEH #1 CAME TO REST ON ITS WHEELS OFF THE NORTH SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. DVR #1 PRONOUNCED DECEASED BY CLINTON COUNTY CORONER LEE HANKS AT 0722 HRS AT THE SCENE OF THE ACCIDENT. ASSISTED BY TPR B.T. QUIRING (907), CLINTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, AND PLATTSBURG FIRE DEPARTMENT.
Injuries
Bright's injuries were fatal. Bright was taken by Clinton County Coroner to Frontier Forensics Of Kansas City Ks.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2013 Mini Cooper driven by Bright was total. It was removed by Towed By Gt Towing Of Smithville.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Sgt L M Newman of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210209673 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
