CRASH OCCURRED AS VEHICLE 1 FAILED TO NEGOTIATE A CURVE AND TRAVELED OFF OF THE NORTH SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. VEHICLE 1 THEN STRUCK THE DITCH AND OVERTURNED. VEHICLE 1 CAME TO REST ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE IN THE DITCH FACING WEST. ASSISTED BY TPR B A OWENS /1423/ AND LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE.

The police said the damage to the 1998 Dodge 1500 driven by Wheeler was moderate. It was removed by Towed By Jackson County Tow.

Tpr A J Foss of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210181809 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
