Cody Haynes Injured in a Crash on February 28, 2021 in Jefferson County, Missouri

Cody A Haynes of Imperial, MO was injured on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 9:26PM in Jefferson County, Missouri. Haynes is a 23-year-old man.

The crash happened here: westbound Old Highway M east of Old Lemay Ferry.

VEHICLE 1 WAS TRAVELING WEST ON OLD HIGHWAY M, DRIVER 1 FAILED TO NEGOTIATE A CURVE TO THE RIGHT. VEHICLE 1 CROSSED THE ROADWAY AND EXITED THE ROADWAY TO THE LEFT AND STRUCK A TREE.

Injuries

Haynes's injuries were serious. Haynes was taken by Rock Township Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital South.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2008 Honda Civic driven by Haynes was total. It was removed by Taken To/By Leos Towing.

Trooper T H Elliston of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210095709 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
