Matthew Young Injured in a Crash on October 19, 2020 in Pettis County, Missouri

Matthew J Young of Stover, MO was injured on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 11:44AM in Pettis County, Missouri. Young is a 41-year-old man.

CRASH OCCURRED AS VEHICLE 1 TRAVELLED OFF THE WEST SIDE OF THE ROADWAY INTO A TREE. THE IMPACT CAUSED VEHICLE 1 ROTATED AROUND AND ENTRAPPED DRIVER 1 IN THE VEHICLE. ASSISTED BY TPR. W. C. GROSE /280/ AND PETTIS COUNTY.

Injuries

Young's injuries were serious. Young was taken by Lifeflight to University Research Hospital.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2005 Ford driven by Young was total. It was removed by Towed By Don'S Truck Towing.

Tpr J W Hunter of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 200524514 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
