Lindsey Lynch Injured in a Crash on October 18, 2020 in Buchanan County, Missouri

CRASH OCCURRED AS VEH 1 WAS SOUTHBOUND ON US-169. DRIVER 1 FAILED TO NEGOTIATE A CURVE IN THE ROADWAY. VEH 1 TRAVELED OFF THE EAST SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, IMPACTED THE DITCH AND OVERTURNED. VEH 1 CAME TO REST ON ITS TOP PARTIALLY IN THE NORTHBOUND LANE OF US-169. ASSISTED BY BUCHANAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT AND ANDREW COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT.

Injuries

Lynch's injuries were minor. Lynch was taken by Buchanan County Ems to Mosaic Life Care St. Joseph.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2013 Ford Taurus driven by Lynch was total. It was removed by Towed By R&W Tow.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Sgt R A Sherman of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 200522576 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
