ACCIDENT OCCURRED AS VEH #1 WAS WESTBOUND ON US36. DVR #1 SWERVED TO MISS A WRONG WAY DRIVER, TRAVELED OFF THE NORTH SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, AND STRUCK THE EMBANKMENT. VEH #1 RETURNED TO THE ROADWAY AND OVERTURNED. VEH #1 CAME TO REST ON ITS TOP IN THE PASSING LANE OF THE ROADWAY. ASSISTED BY DEKALB COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT.

Injuries

Sweet's injuries were minor. Sweet was taken by Private Vehicle to Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 1994 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Sweet was total. It was removed by Towed By Randy'S Repair.

Tpr B R Muck of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210677967 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
