DRIVER #1 FAILED TO YIELD TO VEHICLE #2 AND DROVE VEHICLE #1 DIRECTLY INTO ITS PATH. THE FRONT OF VEHICLE #2 COLLIDED WITH THE REAR OF VEHICLE #1. THE IMPACT CAUSED VEHICLE 1 TO TRAVEL OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY STRIKE A EMBANKMENT AND OVERTURN.
Injuries
Danalds's injuries were minor. Danalds was taken by Missoui Baptist Ambulance to Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2013 Freightliner Conventional driven by Kramer was moderate. It was removed by Towed By/To I44 Towing. The damage to the 2007 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Danalds was total. It was removed by Towed By/To Patriot Towing.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Tpr H H Hoemann of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210604689 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
