Thomas Ward Injured in a Crash on July 24, 2021 in St. Charles County, Missouri

Thomas D Ward of Defiance, MO was injured on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 1:30PM in St. Charles County, Missouri. Ward is a 49-year-old man.

DRIVER 1 WAS TRAVELING ONTO WESTBOUND ROUTE DD FROM A PRIVATE DRIVE. VEHICLE 2 WAS TRAVELING WEST ON ROUTE DD. DRIVER 1 PULLED ONTO DD WHEN UNSAFE TO DO SO, DRIVER 2 ATTEMPTED TO AVOID VEHICLE 1, LOST CONTROL AND THE FRONT OF VEHICLE 2 STRUCK THE FRONT OF VEHICLE 1. THIS IMPACT CAUSED THE TOWED UNIT OF VEHICLE 2 TO STRIKE THE LEFT SIDE OF VEHICLE 1. VEHICLE 2 CROSSED INTO THE EASTBOUND LANES, ROLLED OVER AND SLID OFF THE ROADWAY. VEHICLE 1 RAN OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY.

Injuries

Ward's injuries were moderate. Ward was taken by St Charles County Ambluance District to Progress West Hospital.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2010 Isuzu Npr driven by Bocaner gonzalez was total. It was removed by Towed To/By Crash City Towing. The damage to the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 driven by Ward was extensive. It was removed by Towed By Crash City To Private Residence.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Tpr K D House of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210381103 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
