Stephen D Doby of Crowley, TX was killed on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 2:12PM in Clinton County, Missouri. Doby is a 50-year-old man.

FATALITY REPORT.CRASH OCCURRED AS VEHICLES 1 AND 2 WERE SOUTHBOUND ON I-35 IN CLINTON COUNTY. DUE TO CONSTRUCTION CONGESTION VEHICLE 2 NEARLY STOPPED IN TRAFFIC. VEHICLE 1 FAILED TO SLOW SUFFICIENTLY AND STRUCK THE REAR OF VEHICLE 2'S TRAILER. AFTER IMPACT DRIVER 1 WAS EJECTED. DRIVER 1 WAS PRONOUNCED DECEASED BY THE CLINTON COUNTY CORONER LEE HANKS, AT 1445 HOURS AT THE CRASH SCENE. VEHICLE 1 OVERTURNED SEVERAL TIMES AND CAME TO REST IN THE PASSING LANE ON ITS RIGHT SIDE FACING SOUTHWEST. VEHICLE 2 CAME TO A CONTROLLED STOP IN THE DRIVING LANE. ASSISTED BY SGT A.A. HENRY (187), TPR J.J. THOMPSON (1414), TPR D.M. WILBURN (1467), AND TPR J.W. SMITH (372).
Injuries
Doby's injuries were fatal. Doby was taken to Transported To Frontier Forensics In Kansas City,Ks.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2014 Harley Davidson driven by Doby was total. It was removed by Towed By Dawson'S. The damage to the 2013 Ford F-150 driven by Ferstl was moderate. It was removed by Towed By Dawson'S.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Cpl D A Landi and Sgt H A Sears McIu Team of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210390759 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
