CRASH OCCURRED AS DRIVER 1 SWERVED TO AVOID ANIMAL IN THE ROADWAY. VEHICLE 1 TRAVELLED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. DRIVER 1 OVERCORRECTED CAUSING VEHICLE 1 TO RETURN TO AND RUN OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. VEHICLE 1 STRUCK THE DITCH AND OVERTURNED. ASSISTED BY TPR D. M. BRADSHAW /167/ AND LAKE WINNEBAGO POLICE DEPARTMENT.

Injuries

Neal's injuries were minor. Neal was taken by South Metro Ems to Research Hospital.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2005 Chevrolet driven by Neal was total. It was removed by J'S Southland Tow.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Msgt R W Shaul of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210342029 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
