Shane Donty Killed in a Crash on July 03, 2021 in Jefferson County, Missouri

Shane A Donty of Hillsboro, MO was killed on Saturday, July 03, 2021 at 9:27PM in Jefferson County, Missouri. Donty is a 46-year-old man.

FATALITY CRASH REPORT- VEHICLE 1 WAS TRAVELLING EASTBOUND ON HIGHWAY 30 WHEN PEDESTRIAN 1 WALKED IN FRONT OF VEHICLE 1, RESULTING IN VEHICLE 1 FATALLY STRIKING THE PEDESTRIAN. PEDESTRIAN 1 WAS PRONOUNCED ON SCENE BY NORTH JEFFERSON COUNTY AMBULANCE PARAMEDICS AT 2137 HOURS. ASSISTED BY MSGT E R KESSLER (890) AND TPR A J LEROUX (624).

Injuries

Donty's injuries were fatal. Donty was taken by Superior Mortuary to St Louis County Morgue.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2010 Dodge Caliber driven by Gerstner was extensive. It was removed by Towed To/By Miners Towing.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Cpl A D Smith and Sgt J D Cox of McIu of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210338991 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
