Injuries
Hodge's injuries were fatal. Hodge was taken by Kirkwood Fire Protection District to Mercy Hospital St Louis.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2008 Pontiac G6 driven by Kaplan was total. It was removed by Towed To/By Mcnamaras Towing. The damage to the 2004 Peterbilt 379 driven by Perry was extensive. It was removed by Towed To/By Mcnamaras Towing.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Tpr B A Alcorn and Sgt J D Cox With McIu of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210347013 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
