Leland W Schweiss of Holts Summit, MO was killed on Wednesday, July 07, 2021 at 7:15PM in Callaway County, Missouri. Schweiss is a 87-year-old man.

THIS IS TROOP F'S 3RD FATALITY FOR JULY AND 31ST FOR THE YEAR.

Injuries

Schweiss's injuries were fatal. Schweiss was taken to Transported To Boone County Medical Examiner'S Office.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2011 Snapper Riding Mower driven by Schweiss was moderate. It was removed by Left On Scene.

Tpr J H Vislay of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210348695 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
