John Shaw Injured in a Crash on July 24, 2021 in Pike County, Missouri

John R Shaw of Bowling Green, MO was injured on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 4:12PM in Pike County, Missouri. Shaw is a 59-year-old man.

VEHICLE 1 WAS TRAVELING SOUTHBOUND ON HIGHWAY 79 . VEHICLE 1 TRAVELED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF ROADWAY DOWN AN EMBANKMENT. VEHICLE 1 STRUCK THE DITCH AND CONTINUED TRAVELING DOWN THE EMBANKMENT STRIKING THE DITCH A SECOND TIME. AFTER SECOND IMPACT VEHICLE 1 OVERTURNED AND DRIVER 1 WAS EJECTED.

Injuries

Shaw's injuries were serious. Shaw was taken by Arch Air to Mercy Hospital Saint Louis.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2013 Harkley Davidson driven by Shaw was extensive. It was removed by Towed By/To Bud Jones Towing.

Tpr S T Bruenger of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210381249 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
