Terry Shipley Injured in a Crash on June 06, 2021 in Callaway County, Missouri

VEHICLE 1 VEERED TO THE LEFT TO AVOID AN UNKNOWN VEHICLE AND STRUCK THE FRONT RIGHT CORNER OF VEHICLE 2. VEHICLE 1 TRAVELLED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, STRUCK TWO TREES AND WAS EJECTED. ASSISTED BY SGT. R. D. KYLE (562), TPR. C. A. VOLLE (738), TPR. G. A. BEAULIEU (137), TPR. D. J. DALTON (296), CALLAWAY COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT AND NEW FLORENCE POLICE DEPARTMENT.

Injuries

Shipley's injuries were serious. Shipley was taken by Ambulance to University Hospital In Columbia.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2019 Ford Explorer driven by Muehring was moderate. It was removed by Tom And Steve'S Towing - Fulton. The damage to the 2007 Yamaha Motorcycle driven by Shipley was total. It was removed by Tow Pro - Kingdom City.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Tpr E C Penrod of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210280960 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
