PRIVATE PROPERTY CRASH - PEDESTRIAN 1 EXITED THE VEHICLE WITHOUT PLACING THE VEHICLE INTO PARK. THE VEHICLE ROLLED FROM THE DRIVEWAY INTO A NEARBY POND. PEDESTRIAN 1 WAS TRYING TO RE-ENTER VEHICLE 1 AND WAS STRUCK BY VEHICLE 1. VEHICLE 1 CAME TO REST IN THE POND. OCCUPANT OF VEHICLE 1 WAS REMOVED FROM VEHICLE 1 BY AN UNKNOWN BYSTANDER. ASSISTED BY THE MARION COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, HANNIBAL RURAL FIRE, AND MARION COUNTY AMBULANCE

Injuries

Lovall's injuries were moderate. Lovall was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital, Hannibal, Mo.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2010 Dodge Journey driven by No driver was moderate. It was removed by Heartland Towing, Hannibal, Mo.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Tpr Hicks of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210293795 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
