DRIVER 1 WAS FOLLOWING VEHICLE 2 TOO CLOSELY AND FAILED TO KEEP A PROPER LOOKOUT. THE FRONT OF VEHICLE 1 STRUCK THE REAR OF VEHICLE 2. VEHICLE 2 WAS PUSHED FORWARD AND THE FRONT OF VEHICLE 2 STRUCK THE REAR OF VEHICLE 3.
Injuries
Levins's injuries were minor. Levins was taken by Robertson Fire Protection District Ambulance to Ssm Health Depaul Hospital.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2021 Jeep Compass driven by Buril was minor. It was removed by Driven From Scene. The damage to the 2009 Nissan Altima driven by Lutker was minor. It was removed by Towed To/By Private Party. The damage to the 2016 Toyota Rav 4 driven by Levins was minor. It was removed by Driven From Scene.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Msgt M G Authenrieth of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210301275 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
