CRASH OCCURRED AS VEH#1 WAS NORTHBOUND ON RTE J AND VEH#2 ATTEMPTED TO TURN SOUTHBOUND ON RTE J FROM A PRIVATE DRIVE. VEH#1 STRUCK THE DRIVER?S SIDE VEH#2. VEH#1 CAME TO A CONTROLLED STOP PARTIALLY OFF THE EAST SIDE OF THE ROADWAY FACING NORTH. VEH#2 CAME TO REST OFF THE WEST SIDE OF THE ROADWAY FACING SOUTH. ASSISTED BY TPR. J.J. THOMPSON (1414), TPR. The police said the damage to the Horse-Drawn Vehicle driven by Herschberger was total. It was removed by Removed By Private Party. The damage to the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Arnold was minor. It was removed by Driven From The Scene.

Tpr K L Ebersold of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210296371 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
