CRASH OCCURRED AS VEH 1 WAS NORTHBOUND ON ORION RD AND VEH 2 WAS EASTBOUND ON 200TH ST. VEH 1 FAILED TO YIELD TO VEH 2 AS IT ENTERED AN UNCONTROLLED INTERSECTION. VEH 2 STRUCK VEH 1 AT AN ANGLE. VEH 1 AND VEH 2 CAME TO REST ON THEIR WHEELS IN THE ROADWAY. ASSISTED BY NODAWAY COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT.

The police said the damage to the 2005 Chevrolet 2500 driven by Staples was total. It was removed by Towed By The Owner. The damage to the 2021 Polaris Ranger driven by Stiens was total. It was removed by Towed By Owner.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Tpr T R Hecker of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210281128 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
