Carlos Rees Killed in a Crash on June 12, 2021 in Christian County, Missouri

Carlos B Rees of Nixa, MO was killed on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 6:45PM in Christian County, Missouri. Rees is a 72-year-old man.

FATAL TRAFFIC CRASH - NEXT OF KIN NOTIFIED - THIS IS TROOP D'S 55TH FATALITY FOR 2021 - VEHICLE 1 WAS COMING OUT OF A FIELD WHEN DRIVER 1 SUFFERED A MEDICAL ISSUE. VEHICLE 1 CROSSED THE ROAD AND TRAVELED INTO SOME HEAVY BRUSH. IT IS BELIEVED THE CRASH OCCURRED APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO BEING LOCATED. SUBJECT WAS PRONOUNCED DECEASED AT 2003 HOURS BY DR. MICHAEL GALINDO AT COX SOUTH HOSPITAL IN SPRINGFIELD.

Injuries

Rees's injuries were fatal. Rees was taken to Transported To Cox South Hospital In Springfield.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 1984 Dodge Ram driven by Rees was minor. It was removed by Driven From Scene.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Tpr I A Warren of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210293755 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
