CRASH OCCURRED AS VEHICLE #1 TRAVELLED OFF RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. DRIVER #1 OVER-CORRECTED, CAUSING VEHICLE #1 TO CROSS THE CENTER OF THE ROAD, CONTINUE OFF THE LEFT SIDE AND HIT THE BRIDGE WALL. AFTER IMPACT, VEHICLE #1 RETURNED TO THE ROAD, CROSSED THE CENTERLINE, TRAVELLED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE AND HIT THE SIDE OF THE BRIDGE BEFORE COMING TO REST.

Injuries

Collins's injuries were minor. Collins was taken by Ambulance to Golden Valley Hospital, Clinton, Mo.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse driven by Collins was total. It was removed by Towed By Gary'S Tow, Clinton, Mo.

Tpr H J Groves of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210222736 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
