Injuries
Linneman's injuries were fatal. Linneman was taken by Chariton County Ambulance to University Hospital.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 1973 General Motors Gp38-2 Norfolk Southern Locomotive driven by Morgan was minor. It was removed by Driven From The Scene. The damage to the 2011 Gmc 3500 driven by Linneman was total. It was removed by Removed From The Scene By A Family Member.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Tpr Ewigman of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210075676 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
