Lakota J Murphy of Eldon, MO was injured on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 8:10PM in Miller County, Missouri. Murphy is a 20-year-old woman.

DRIVER 1 RE-ENTERED VEHICLE 1 IN AN ATTEMPT TO STOP IT, AND WAS STRUCK BY THE OPEN DRIVER DOOR. VEHICLE 1 CONTINUED SLIDING BACKWARDS, AND STRUCK A STUMP AND A TELEPHONE UTILITY BOX
Injuries
Murphy's injuries were minor. Murphy was taken by Ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital In Osage Beach.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2001 Toyota Avalon driven by Murphy was minor. It was removed by Kendalls Towing - Russellville.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Tpr M R Parker Assisted By Tpr S W Mahaney of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210069722 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
