VEHICLE #2 WAS PARKED IN A PRIVATE DRIVE AND THE OCCUPANT OF THE VEHICLE WAS STANDING BESIDE VEHICLE #2 ATTEMPTING TO DEPLOY A TIRE DEFLATION DEVICE IN FRONT OF VEHICLE #1. VEHICLE #1 TRAVELLED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY AND STRUCK VEHICLE #2, WHICH THEN STRUCK THE PEDESTRIAN. ASSISTED BY: MSGT. T. J. STEVENS #996, SGT. T.L. HALL #550, THE GREENE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT AND THE POLK COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT.

Injuries

Westbrook's injuries were serious. Westbrook was taken by Cox Air Ambulance to Cox South In Springfield.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2019 Nissan Sentra driven by Hay was total. It was removed by Towed By Henry'S Of Brookline, Mo. The damage to the 2019 Dodge Charger driven by No driver was total. It was removed by Towed By Henrys.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Tpr J L White and Tpr D J Jackson of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 200619160 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
