Valeria R Hopwood of Salem, MO was killed on Friday, November 20, 2020 at 1:30PM in Dent County, Missouri. Hopwood is a 27-year-old woman.

THE PEDESTRIAN WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL BY PRIVATE CONVEYANCE AND WAS PRONOUNCED DECEASED AT 1451 HOURS BY DR. ELIZABETH LAMBERT AT SALEM MEMORIAL HOSPITAL. THIS IS TROOP I'S 3RD FATALITY FOR THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER AND THE 31ST FOR 2020. ASSISTED BY TPR J. R. SUMMERS (1254).
Injuries
Hopwood's injuries were fatal. Hopwood was taken to Transported To Wilson Mortuary.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Bush was none. It was removed by Driven From Scene.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Cpl J S Leathers of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 200580704 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
