VEH #1 LOST CONTROL AND TRAVELED OFF THE EAST SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, OVER AN EMBANKMENT AND OVERTURNED ONE TIME, COMING TO REST ON ITS DRIVER'S SIDE. VEH #2 TRAVELED OFF THE EAST SIDE OF THE ROADWAY OVER AN EMBANKMENT AND CAME TO REST ON ITS WHEELS, ASSISTED BY TPR J.H. THOMPSON (606), AND BUCHANAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT.
Injuries
Leighr's injuries were minor. Leighr was taken by Buchanan County Ems to Mosaic Life Care St Joseph.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2016 Ford Fiesta driven by Seminara was minor. It was removed by Driven From The Scene. The damage to the 2017 Ford Escape driven by Leighr was total. It was removed by Towed By Blue Knight Towing And Recovery.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Tpr J D Farmer of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 200586315 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
