CRASH OCCURRED AS VEH1 WAS WESTBOUND ON ROUTE M WHEN VEH1 WENT OFF OF THE NORTH SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. DVR1 OVERCORRECTED AND VEH1 BEGAN TO SKID GOING OFF OF THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. Injuries
Pappert's injuries were moderate. Pappert was taken by Grand River Ambulance to Mosaic Life Care St. Joseph.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 driven by Pappert was total. It was removed by Towed By Raymond Smith Towing.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Tpr B D Hahn of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 200482734 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
