Justin Brim Killed in a Crash on September 15, 2020 in Crawford County, Missouri

Justin M Brim of St James, MO was killed on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 1:45PM in Crawford County, Missouri. Brim is a 22-year-old man.

FATALITY CRASH OCCURRED AS VEHICLE 1 SUFFERED A TIRE BLOWOUT ON A CURVE. VEHICLE 1 TRAVELLED OFF OF THE ROADWAY AND STRUCK A TREE. THE DRIVER WAS PRONOUNCED DECEASED ON THE SCENE BY THE CRAWFORD COUNTY ASSISTANT CORONER NIKKI GAMBLIN AT 1412 HOURS. THIS IS TROOP IS 2ND FATALITY FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER AND 21ST FOR 2020. ASSISTED BY MSGT D.E. DICUS (441), CPL D.A. YINGLING (1391) AND .TPR J.M. VANMETER (1396)

Injuries

Brim's injuries were fatal. Brim was taken to Transported To The Crawford County Morgue In Cuba.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 1991 Mack Dumptruck driven by Brim was total. It was removed by Towed By/To Dishmans Towing.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Tpr C B Townsend of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 200461717 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
