Daniel B Rockelman of Russellville, MO was killed on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 3:00AM in Cole County, Missouri. Rockelman is a 66-year-old man.

FATALITY REPORT - NEXT-OF-KIN NOTIFIED - VEHICLE 1 TRAVELED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY AND STRUCK A MAILBOX. DRIVER 1 OVERCORRECTED; VEHICLE 1 RETURNED TO THE ROADWAY AND BEGAN SKIDDING. VEHICLE 1 TRAVELED OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY AND STRUCK TREES. THE CRASH WAS HEARD AT APPROXIMATELY 0300 HOURS BUT WAS NOT SEEN DUE TO HEAVY FOG IN THE AREA. CRASH WAS REPORTED TO LAW ENFORCEMENT AT APPROXIMATELY 0820. DRIVER 1 PRONOUNCED ON SCENE AT 0847 BY PARAMEDIC ARNDT. THIS IS TROOP F'S 7TH FATALITY FOR SEPTEMBER AND 58TH FOR THIS YEAR. Injuries
Rockelman's injuries were fatal. Rockelman was taken to Transported To/By Freeman Mortuary.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2002 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Rockelman was total. It was removed by Towed To/By Kendalls Towing.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Tpr A E Klempke of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 200457595 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
