Ashlyn Long Injured in a Crash on August 21, 2020 in Cass County, Missouri

Ashlyn N Long of Pleasant Hill, MO was injured on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 10:50PM in Cass County, Missouri. Long is a 17-year-old girl.

CRASH OCCURRED AS VEHICLE 1 TRAVELED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY AND DRIVER 1 OVERCORRECTED. VEHICLE 1 TRAVELED OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, OVERTURNED, AND STRUCK A TREE. ASSISTED BY CASS COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT.

Long's injuries were minor. Long was taken by Pleasant Hill Fire to Children'S Mercy Hospital.

The police said the damage to the 2006 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Long was total. It was removed by Towed From The Scene By Stever'S Tow.

Tpr Z D Davidson of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 200408921 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
