Sharon Uebinger Killed in a Crash on June 16, 2020 in Boone County, Missouri

Sharon L Uebinger of Centralia, MO was killed on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 7:17PM in Boone County, Missouri. Uebinger is a 74-year-old woman.

The crash happened here: eastbound Lakeview Street -- approximately 205 feet west of orchard Street.

In the crash, Uebinger was a pedestrian. The police described the crash like this:

***LATE FATALITY CRASH REPORT*** NEXT OF KIN NOTIFIED*** OCCURRED AS VEHICLE 1 WAS TRAVELLING EASTBOUND ON LAKEVIEW STREET AND PEDESTRIAN WAS WALKING SOUTH OF THE ROADWAY. VEHICLE 1 TRAVELLED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY AND STRUCK THE PEDESTRIAN. VEHICLE 1 THEN RETURNED TO THE ROADWAY AND MADE A U-TURN. WHILE MAKING THE U-TURN, VEHICLE 1 TRAVELLED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, THEN RETURNED TO THE ROADWAY AND FLED THE SCENE OF THE CRASH. VEHICLE 1 WAS LATER LOCATED IN HOWARD COUNTY AND THE DRIVER WAS ARRESTED FOR DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED. PEDESTRAIN 1 WAS PROUNOUNCED DECEASED BY DR. LIBBY AT UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL ON 06/17/2020 AT 12:59 PM. TROOP F 7TH FATALITY FOR JUNE AND 27TH FOR 2020. ASSISTED BY SGT. S. A. BALLARD (127), CPL. A. M. RICHERSON (759) AND TPR. C. W. REICHERT (605)

Injuries

Uebinger's injuries were fatal. Uebinger was taken by Ambulance to University Hospital.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2005 Honda Pilot driven by Rievley was moderate. It was removed by Towed By Nash Towing.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Tpr J H Vislay of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 200277703 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
