Taylor Bateman Injured in a Crash on December 30, 2019 in Greene County, Missouri

Taylor N Bateman of Brookline, Missouri was injured on Monday, December 30th 2019 at 5:30 pm in Greene County, Missouri. Bateman is a 22-year-old woman.

FATALITY REPORT - NEXT OF KIN HAS BEEN NOTIFIED - THIS IS TROOP D'S 117TH TRAFFIC FATALITY FOR 2019. ACCIDENT OCCURRED AS #2 PASSED, CUT IN FRONT OF AND QUICKLY APPLIED THE BRAKES IN FRONT OF #1. #1 STRUCK #2 FROM BEHIND. #2 SKIDDED OFF THE ROADWAY AND OVERTURNED, EJECTING BOTH OCCUPANTS. DRIVER OF #2 WAS PRONOUNCED AT 1730 HOURS BY BUDDY PILMORE OF THE GREENE COUNTY MEDICAL EXAMINER'S OFFICE. PER MISSOURI LAW, THE SURVIVING DRIVER WAS TESTED FOR ALCOHOL.

Injuries

Bateman's injuries were moderate. Bateman was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Mo.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2006 Chevrolet Pickup driven by Jerry Welch was minor. It was removed by Terrys Towing of Springfield Mo. The damage to the 2002 Honda Civic driven by Seth Bateman was total. It was also removed by Terrys Towing of Springfield Mo.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Trooper R Anderson of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 190753165 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $5.75 for each certified report (certification required for court). But you can call 877-925-1969 to request a free copy of the report. The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted or blacked out.
