VEHICLE 2 [THE 2015 JEEP WRANGLER DRIVEN BY JOSHUA HOFFMAN] STRUCK THE PASSENGER SIDE OF VEHICLE 1 [THE 2004 NISSAN ALTIMA DRIVEN BY LACEY PETRONE], CAUSING VEHICLE 1 [THE 2004 NISSAN ALTIMA DRIVEN BY LACEY PETRONE] TO STRIKE VEHICLE 3 [THE 2010 DODGE NITRO DRIVEN BY JULIE SHIPLEY]. VEH #4 STRUCK DEBRIS IN THE ROADWAY FROM THE IMPACT OF VEHICLE 1 [THE 2004 NISSAN ALTIMA DRIVEN BY LACEY PETRONE] STRIKING VEHICLE 3 [THE 2010 DODGE NITRO DRIVEN BY JULIE SHIPLEY]. VEHICLE 2 [THE 2015 JEEP WRANGLER DRIVEN BY JOSHUA HOFFMAN] AND VEH #4 CAME TO CONTROLLED STOP ON MO-6. Injuries
Petrone's injuries were minor. Petrone was taken by Daviess County EMS to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2004 Nissan Altima driven by Lacey Petrone was total. It was removed by Jerrys Garage Jamesport. The damage to the 2015 Jeep Wrangler driven by Joshua Hoffman was moderate. The damage to the 2010 Dodge Nitro driven by Julie Shipley was extensive. It was removed by Bridgemans Wrecker Altamont. The damage to the 2015 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Drew McCall was minor.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Sergeant J M Cross of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 190542659 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $5.75 for each certified report (certification required for court). But you can call 877-925-1969 to request a free copy of the report. The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted or blacked out.
