VEHICLE 2 ATTEMPTED TO MAKE A LEFT TURN ONTO COUNTY ROAD SE 1001 WHEN IT WAS STRUCK ON ITS SIDE BY VEHICLE 1. AFTER COLLISION, VEHICLE 2 OVERTURNED, STRUCK A STOP SIGN, AND CAME TO REST ON ITS WHEELS. ASSISTED BY TPR. B.R. DODSON (1324), TPR. J.J. THOMPSON (1414), AND HENRY COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE
Injuries
Rold's injuries were moderate. Rold was taken by Pettis County Ambulance to Western Missouri Medical Center.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2003 Mazda B 2300 driven by Zane Elwell was total. It was towed from the crash scene by Jay's Towing. The damage to the 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Leland Maxwell was extensive. It was towed from the crash scene by  Golden Valley Wrecker.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Trooper M G Yendes of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 170380857 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $5.75 for each certified report (certification required for court). But you can call 877-925-1969 to request a free copy of the report. The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted or blacked out.
