James Riordan Killed in a Crash on July 05, 2023 in Barry County, Missouri

James E Riordan of Eagle Rock, MO was killed on Wednesday, July 05, 2023 at 5:55PM in Barry County, Missouri. Riordan is a 53-year-old man.

FATALITY CRASH. NEXT OF KIN NOTIFIED. THIS IS TROOP D'S 68TH FATALITY IN 2023. CRASH OCCURRED AS VEH 1 RAN OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD, RETURNED TO THE ROAD AND WENT INTO A SKID. VEH 1 CROSSED THE ROAD, RAN OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROAD, HIT AN EMBANKMENT AND A TREE AND OVERTURNED. DRIVER PRONOUNCED AT THE SCENE BY DEPUTY CORONER TODD MCCOY AT 1845 HOURS. ASSISTED BY CPL K. Injuries

Riordan's injuries were fatal. Riordan was taken to Fohn'S Funeral Home, Cassville, Mo.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 1194 Chevrolet Gmt-400 Truck driven by Riordan was total. It was removed by Schrader'S Wrecker.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Tpr S J Walden of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 230360225 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
