Troy Boshears Killed in a Crash on January 16, 2023 in Boone County, Missouri

Troy W Boshears of Paris, MO was killed on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 12:20PM in Boone County, Missouri. Boshears is a 22-year-old man.

VEHICLE 1 THEN TRAVELLED OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY AND OVERTURNED, COMING TO REST ON ITS TOP. DRIVER 1 PRONOUNCED ON SCENE AT 1242 BY UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL PARAMEDIC CHRISTOPHER LEROUX. THIS IS TROOP F'S 2ND FATALITY FOR JANUARY AND 2ND FATAL FOR 2023. ASSISTED BY TPR. G. A. AYRES (217), TPR. B. A. DETTENWANGER (1323), TPR. C. T. HINSHAW (265), CVO D. J. HARTMANN (W113) AND CVO. L. D. ROBINSON (W114).

Injuries

Boshears's injuries were fatal. Boshears was taken to Body Taken To Boone County Medical Examiner'S Office In Columbia.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2016 Western Star 4700 Cement Truck driven by Boshears was extensive. It was removed by I70 Towing - Columbia.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Tpr S W Bean of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 230027203 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
