DRIVER 2 FAILED TO NOTICE VEHICLE 1 TRAVELING SOUTHBOUND. VEHICLE 2 TRAVELED DIRECTLY INTO THE PATH OF VEHICLE 1. THE FRONT OF VEHICLE 1 STRUCK THE TOWED UNIT OF VEHICLE 2. VEHICLES 1 TRAVELED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD AND STRUCK AN EMBANKMENT. ALL THE DAMAGE TO VEHICLE 2, WAS TO THE TOWED UNIT.
Injuries
Picker's injuries were minor. Picker was taken by Warren County Ambulance District to Mercy Hopsital Washington.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2016 Ford Fusion driven by Picker was total. It was removed by Towed By/To Appoved Towing. The damage to the 2015 Ford F250 driven by Steinmann was moderate. It was removed by Driven From Scene.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Tpr J L Hughes of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210549998 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
