VEHICLE 1 BEGAN TO ROTATE CLOCKWISE AND RETURNED TO THE ROADWAY WHERE IT BEGAN TO SKI ACROSS THE ROADWAY AND OVERTURNED. VEHICLE 1 TRAVELLED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY AND CONTINUED TO OVERTURN, STRIKING A BARBED WIRE FENCE AND A TREE.
Injuries
Wright's injuries were serious. Wright was taken by Arch Helicopter to Mercy Hospital - St. Louis.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2001 Kia Sportage driven by Wright was total. It was removed by Towed By Private Entity.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Tpr B C Bridges of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210530529 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
