Mason Duckett Killed in a Crash on October 22, 2021 in Wright County, Missouri

Mason L Duckett of Ava, MO was killed on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 9:20PM in Wright County, Missouri. Duckett is a 19-year-old man.

FATALITY ACCIDENT OCCURRED AS VEHICLE ONE FAILED TO NEGOTIATE A RIGHT TURN, RAN OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, STRUCK A TREE, AND OVERTURNED. PRONOUNCED DECEASED AT THE SCENE BY WRIGHT COUNTY CORONER BEN HURTT AT 2219 HOURS. NEXT OF KIN NOTIFIED. THIS IS TROOP G'S 28TH FATALITY OF 2021 COMPARED TO 34 AT THIS TIME IN 2020. ASSISTED BY CPL D A HUFFMAN (436) AND TPR J L SENTMAN (1298).

Injuries

Duckett's injuries were fatal. Duckett was taken by The Wright County Coroner to The Wright County Coroner'S Office.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2010 Hyundai Sonata driven by Duckett was total. It was removed by Towed By/To Elliot'S Towing.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Tpr J L Dedmon of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210552127 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
