David Hurley Injured in a Crash on October 18, 2021 in Adair County, Missouri

VEHICLE 01 SUFFERED A MECHANICAL FAILURE AND WAS UNABLE TO STOP AT AN INTERSECTION. DRIVER 01 JUMPED FROM THE VEHICLE. VEHICLE 01 TRAVELED OFF THE WEST SIDE OF THE ROAD AND BECAME AIRBORNE, STRUCK A FENCE, THEN STRUCK A TREE BEFORE COMING TO REST IN THE TREE. ASSISTED BY ADAIR COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, ADAIR COUNTY AMBULANCE, AND ADAIR COUNTY FIRST RESPONDERS.

Injuries

Hurley's injuries were moderate. Hurley was taken to Adair County Ambulance To Northeast Regional Medical Center.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2002 Crane Trash Truck driven by Hurley was total. It was removed by Towed By Lakeside Towing.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Tpr Haley of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210544502 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
