CRASH OCCURRED AS VEHICLE #1 TRAVELED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF ROUTE Y TO AVOID A DEER THAT ENTERED ITS PATH OF TRAVEL FROM THE SOUTH. VEHICLE #1 OVERTURNED AFTER ENCOUNTERING A STEEP EMBANKMENT AND STRUCK A FENCE. AFTER IMPACT WITH THE FENCE, VEHICLE #1 CAME TO REST ON ITS TIRES FACING SOUTH.
Injuries
Gilbertson's injuries were minor. Gilbertson was not taken to the hospital.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 1997 Jeep Wrangler driven by Gilbertson was moderate. It was removed by Towed By Driver.

Tpr C D Parrott of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210355332 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
