OCCURRED AS VEHICLE 1 WAS TRAVELLING BEHIND VEHICLE 2. VEHICLE 2 SLOWED AND STOPPED TO MAKE A LEFT TURN. VEHICLE 1 FAILED TO STOP AND STRUCK THE REAR OF VEHICLE 2. VEHICLE 2 BEGAN SKIDDING AND SLIDING AND TRAVELED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD. VEHICLE 1 CONTINUED FORWARD AND TRAVELED OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROAD. Injuries

Busen's injuries were serious. Busen was taken by Mid Mo Ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2005 Kia Optima driven by Shultz was total. It was removed by Towed By Whan'S Towing. The damage to the 1991 Dodge Dakota driven by Busen was total. It was removed by Towed By Garber Diesel.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report

Tpr J D Conrad of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210348232 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
