CRASH OCCURRED AS VEHICLE 1 WAS TRAVELING WESTBOUND ON HWY D WEST OF CR 7003. VEHICLE 1 RAN OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, STRUCK THE EMBANKMENT, AND WENT AIRBORNE. VEHICLE 1 THEN OVERTURNED AND DRIVER 1 WAS EJECTED. ASSISTED BY CPL M A PATE /980/, BATES COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE, AND BUTLER FIRE DEPARTMENT.

Injuries

Johnson's injuries were serious. Johnson was taken by Bates County Ems to Bates County Memorial Hospital.

Vehicle Damage

The police said the damage to the 2011 Freightliner driven by Johnson was extensive. It was removed by Towed By J'S Southland.

Tpr L N Boff of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210160955 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
