Christopher A Callahan of Jacksonville, MO was killed on Sunday, March 07, 2021 at 3:30PM in Randolph County, Missouri. Callahan is a 50-year-old man.

FATALITY ACCIDENT--VEHICLE 2 WAS TRAVELLING NORTH OUT OF THE RANDOLPH CO JUSTICE CENTER PARKING LOT AND WAS TURNING WEST ONTO RT JJ. UPON OBSERVING VEHICLE 2, DRIVER 1 APPLIED HIS BRAKES CAUSING THEM TO LOCK RESULTING IN DRIVER 1 BEING EJECTED. VEHICLE 1 AND VEHICLE 2 COLLIDED NEAR THE CENTER OF THE ROADWAY. DRIVER 1 WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD AT THE SCENE BY RANDOLPH CO CORONER SID CONKLIN AT 1617 HRS.

Callahan's injuries were fatal. Callahan was taken to Body Taken To Pathway Memorial Funeral Home.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 2006 Jeep Liberty driven by Lewis was moderate. It was removed by Towed By Palmatory'S. The damage to the 2005 Harley Davidson Sportster driven by Callahan was total. It was removed by Towed By Palmatory'S.

Msgt Berry Assisted By Msgt Mattingly Tpr Ruckenbrod Sgt Cox With Major Crash Investigation Unit Team Tpr Grubaugh the Randolph Co Sheriffs Dept Westran Fire Dept and the Randolph Co Ambulance of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 210108364 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
