ACCIDENT OCCURRED AS VEH #1 WAS NORTHBOUND ON US59. VEH #1 LOST CONTROL ON SNOW-COVERED ROADWAY AND TRAVELED OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY, STRIKING TWO UTILITY POLES. VEH #1 CAME TO REST ON ITS WHEELS OFF THE WEST SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. ASSISTED BY ATCHISON COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT.

The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
